warrenwinter's Journal, 23 March 2016

Happy Wednesday to all the FatSecret community! I'm realizing both of us here are becoming consumed with our physical problems. I need to see a orthopedist, and my wife has one thought, and I have another. My attorney friend wants me to see a doctor downtown, and my wife locally. She always seems to want total control of every decision. The knee is improving again, but this is obviously a chronic situation. Was hoping to solve the prostate before the knee.

Warren's Diet Tip of the Day: In my diet, the first step to losing weight is to reset your metabolism. The easiest way, is to choose an "Intermittent Fasting Method". This will immediately lower you insulin levels, and for a two week period, will allow your metabolism to reset before working towards a more normal diet plan.

Well, you know what they say... Happy wife, happy life 😋 Just kidding, but I do hope whichever doc you choose is able to help you out. So many doctors these days just want to write a prescription and shoo us out the door. Finding a good doctor is tough!

Jessberry, I think you just hit on the real problems, she just needs to focus on her own physical problem, right now. One problem at a time. lol Thanks Suzy, I'll be fine.

Panigale, please put ice on it over, and over, and over again. Ice is the wonder solution to back problems. It may not feel that good at first, but it will help, trust me.

You and I both can relate on the knee problems, but I "had" knee problems due to serious gout attacks that crippled me for 3-4 weeks straight, before I got gout I used to run 3 miles a day, participated in 5k events like it was nothing. Now, what's left of my knee cartilage from all the running, bad diets full of cartilage eating sugar, and even squatting and repping 405lbs solid weights in the gym, it took its toll on my knees. What's left of my knee cartilage is a ghost town that's near bone that's rubbing each other. Whenever I bend my knees more than 90 degrees, it sounds like popcorn popping in the microwave. Sounds bad, but the inflammation is no longer there so no more pain, ever since I've gone to LCHF diet. The picture of that omelet looks good though. O.O

Bcoulai, I am feeling your pain right now. lol I could write your post for me verbatim. I am on a low sugar diet. I will look at yours. I need an MRI, and hope I can get it soon, and have an evaluation. I still have hope without surgery, but something is hurting my medial collateral. Thanks, I appreciate your post.

Suzy, I saw a lot of great flowers today in my yard. I am going to send you pics soon, but I am kind of consumed with my knee, and my wife, right now. Spring has definitely sprung here. The yard looks amazing right now. Hope to get those to you today. Our gardener comes soon, maybe after he mows the lawns.

Suzy, you constantly make me laugh, even though terrorists attacks aren't funny. I told you as old folks, all we watch is TV. The terror attack is old news now. So sad, but we will never stop these attacks. Even though Europe needs to get more proactive on these attacks, but we had an awful one 10 miles from me in San Bernardino. I say take all assault weapons away, period. but that is just me talking. Sorry, but you aren't going to take over our government with an assault weapon, sorry right wingers!
