You lost a pound 38 times!!! Losing a pound permanently is no joke, and not easy for most of us, and possibly a common benchmark for having to learn yet another lesson before another pound. That means you probably went through 38 new unwritten lessons about being healthier, plus, in your case, getting fit too, and exercising more than most people, even more than most healthy, fit people! For some people, the benchmark for having to learn yet another lesson and get over another short period of burnout, may be losing just a fraction of a pound permanently, but not if you are as active as ObeseToBeast, well probably not. For others, if they are active enough enough plus extremely lucky genetics, lol, which would be extremely *unlucky* genetics instead if you are that same way but trying to get fit instead of just slim, the benchmark for another round of lessons/short burnout/a serious challenge may be losing 2 or 3 lbs permanently.

Livin_Breezy you should get him to go do one he would love it! We are doing them in NY, NJ, PA and VT this year but they have them all over. Unfortunately they stopped doing kids tough mudder races but spartan still does the kids races ages 4 and up.

LivinBreezy ohh then he can do the really cool kids one then! they have a half mile, 1 mile and 2 mile course. the 2 mile is ages 8 to 12 and it's just smaller versions of all the adult obstacles.

O pray you find a way to rejoice in the all too busy life you're living. It's wonderful to be that alive! You have got to be one of the best dads I've witnessed with all the ways you involve your children. You are one of the best at encouraging everyone you are in contact with on FS. It's great to get so exhausted you can't move a muscle. Its amazing to wake up to a new day ready to explode into life with energy. Relish these times. They are some of the most rewarding times in a person's life. You will do far more than just survive tomorrow!!!

While we all applaud you…and we do…mama bear up north here is a little worried for your well being. Curious…do you find it hard to say no to people? Cause there is a thing called burnout…and often results in shingles…I’ve been there, done that. Kinda concerned for ya buddy. That’s all. We all must rest. Without it on a regular basis…we will suffer consequences of some sort. Take care of yourself, your own wifey and those kiddos you got. You’re all a team and need each other. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
