week 6 of the cut is over this weeks defecit was 4940 calories this weeks results were 0 change from last week... I spent almost the whole week 1.5lbs ro 2.5 lbs above today's weight and dropped back down today to the weight I ended at last week. The scale doesn't always match the efforts you are putting in and can be super frustrating just keep pushing forward. knowing that doesn't make things any less aggravating though 🤣

You got this 💪 Be stubborn and obsessed 😉 or, take a little break and raise your calories to maintenance level for a week, then get back to it next week

Ddrud thanks its all outside stuff that's bugging me lots of guys injured at work out on leave including one that got hurt pretty bad infront of me could have been much worse. And just running like crazy with the kids activities. Gotta keep pushing have a hard cut off date of being ready for my first race in 41days.

I hear that with the kids' activities. At one point, I just decided one activity for each boy at any given moment and that was that. Their father (my best friend, still) was working the weekends, so it was always just me. Which is how I like it, honestly, but it did mean that I needed to set some limits to keep my sanity. ☮️

unity1234 I work every Saturday and I have 16 weeks of round the clock on call this year so my wife gets stuck with a lot more than me as far as kids activities. Knowing that I try to take over for as much of them as I possibly can when I'm able to but it just makes me more run down lol. They each have one sport and we do cubscouts but my wife and i are both very involved in cubscouts and sports are most days each week. Yesterday was a 5 hour lacrosse tournament 🤦‍♂️

Ouch... 5 hours is no joke, boss...

Good luck friend, in the end the important thing is to do the things that need to be done. , that is the important thing, the result does not always depend on us, what the scale indicates does not matter much, you have surely gained some muscle and improved your capabilities, you can take a 1-day food reload, or a few days of rest Even at the training level you can rest some or lower the intensity, or simply do things you like, so you give yourself a break to recharge your batteries 💪

By the way, sleep is very important, try to sleep enough and well :)

Shark3000 thanks buddy I'm just trying to squeeze workouts in when ever possible I'm not really pushing very hard with them really just trying to hold onto whatever muscle I can while I cut. I know you see all my workouts I dropped the weight down on everything and have been focusing on higher volume sets around 12 to 20 reps for now for most exercises. My sleep is great when I'm not oncall and terrible when I am Lol

I'm glad to hear that, things are sure to improve, something that helped me a lot to maintain adherence to good nutrition and lose weight was including refills and breaks at a nutritional level, and indulging in my whims.
