Dropped the weight from visiting Vegas last week. I decided last week to pull out my bike and get it DT for riding. I’ve not been able to ride due to weight, balance, stability, and body mechanics issues for years. There was much rust to knock off. And that was before I pulled out the bike.
I played around testing last week. But I started for real yesterday. A light ride about 1.5 miles. Short but needed to make sure and be safe. Today about 2 miles and stressed the legs and lungs by upping the pace.
I know the progress is small… but man I felt good taking off my helmet and grabbing a water.

I love it that you have lost over 100lbs that is my goal to. Do you mind if I ask you what kind of diet, exercises you have been doing? especially when you first started as I have lost about 25lbs since June 11 two months just eating lower carbs and drinking water and not soda and exercises are chair and some walking around as I have a bad knee and leg after about 3 min of walking and standing up I have to take a break. so any kind of exercises you may have done in the beginning of your journey I may be able to do.

That's a great start! I need to pull mine out. I live in a hilly area 🤯

I usually lose weight in Vegas because I return with a lighter wallet. Keep on keeping on!

Great to hear about your success too. No special diet. Smaller portions and no seconds. Some call it intermittent fasting, I hate the negative connotation. I just waited until 10 to have breakfast and didn’t have a late snack. Accomplishes the same thing but easier to keep it up for me. Each pound I lose makes the exercise easier. I kept things small at first. Go up the stairs. Do the first flight without stopping. Then the little one. Then both. Each week a bit more. Listened to my body. Then walking. Then hiking (hiking poles were a game changer for my knees). Now bike. I’m focusing on consistency and cut myself a break when I don’t succeed. Just get on the scale and start again. All damage can be fixed. You’re doing something that’s really hard. Good luck!!
