Good Morning FS Warriors, we have another day on the frontlines!! LOL! I slept like the dead, could not keep my eyes open trying to watch an episode of Bones, so I called it and turned in early. I recorded 9.4 hours of sleep, 6 hours of deep sleep and the rest is light sleep. I feel refreshed!! Must have needed it. Listening to your body very closely is an eye opening experience. I was focusing on my hunger that got triggered when hubby decided to toast his Hoagie roll with cheese on top. He volunteered to do his own meals while I do this fast, good man!! So the smell of toasting bread and cheese triggered some deep growls inside me and I closed my eyes and followed them. They start in the back, towards the spine and move around both sides of my abdomen then meet in the middle of my guts. It's almost like a pond ripple when you drop in a rock and the ripples hit an obstacle in the water and wrap around it. Very interesting. Anyways, when that passed my eyelids did not want to open back up so me and Iris headed for the bed as I felt my body was telling me I got shorted the night before and needed the extra zzz's. 60.74 hours into my fast, feeling pretty fabulous today! You guys have a fantastic day! Fast On!!!

I like your meditation on the hunger wave. Also, awesome sleeping. I never sleep that long, though I did well last night. I'm thinking I should get a watch or ring to track it.

I got a cheap Android watch off of Amazon, It has it's issues but it does seem to do a good job of logging my sleep. The interesting thing about meditating on the hunger, it seems like when you are really observing it, it hides, LOL almost like it does not want to be observed.

Good morning, deb!!! Sweet loss!!! 👊👏 Nice observation of the body. It truly does talk to us, but only if we can drown out the noise around us enough to hear/listen. I had only cravings once yesterday & that was for the fried pork skins on top of the fridge. I thought, maybe my body just wants some salt. I drank a little salt water, and WHAM I forgot all about the skins. I hope your day is just as beautiful as you are! 💜

I love those tracker watches. I like tracking my sleep. I also watch the resting heart rate to know when I've been working out too hard. Some days I'm just feeling lazy, other days I'm burned out from the prior day's workout. If the resting heart rate is normal, I'm just feeling lazy (go work out anyway). If the resting heart rate is high, take the day off.

That's an interesting observation about the resting heart rate. I really have little insight into the meaning of it.

Mine has improved, well I guess it's an improvement. It's gone from 62 to 55 in the past few weeks that I have been losing weight and moving. I'm hoping it means that my heart is not having to work as hard to move my blood when I'm resting when it goes down like that.
