Hello mu lovelies!🌼🥰🌼

Just a quick update today. New coping tool I'm using when I get frustrated is visualization. I'm steadily lising weight, and my diabetic issues are basically resolved. But, sometimes I woke up in the morning and groan. I'm still fat! So I've been visualizing myself healthy and fit. Going into regular stores and buying regular clothes. Going camping and being able to crawl into the tent. Just everyday things. Not worrying if that chair can support me! It's helping get me through some rough spots. Also helps when cravings hit. I take a moment to visualize the goal, how good I'll feel and look. Just morning rambling.

I hope your day is WONDERFUL. Stay strong, you're worth it!

🌼🥰

I had the gastric sleeve and than the bypass. Hard to want to do it at first., Was losing weight my mom got really sick and well depression since I wasn't able to fix it. The sleeve I lost lost lots of weight but was sick so had the bypass and am stuck where I am. I was 300 before weight 108 when younger was 125 until I had children so even with my weight loss I still see fat. Its hard to get past the visualization

You’re more focused than I am. I’ve been giving in to cravings. If I visualize like you do that, I’ll probably be able to stay on track. You’re an inspiration.

Daisy i was in the same ballpark weight wise as you last January 2022. Was 227. Was 220 July 12th and concentrated on taking control of my sugar addiction and becoming more mobile. The last 9 months have flown and I’m officially very healthy and fit per my trainer and i also feel it. Time flies by so fast. My hubby said to me he had had enough alcohol to last a lifetime (he’s 23 years sober) and that resonated with me. Ive had enough ice cream and sugar to last a lifetime and it put me in a very unwell body. I still unfortunately think about those foods that don’t lead to a healthier body but it’s just not worth how sick i felt. Time will fly by and you will be in the same place i am 6 months or so from now. Sending you lots and lots of good wishes. One thing that has helped me is to take photos in bikini front back and sideways on the first of every month and to measure bust, waist, hips, biceps and thighs. Before i found fatsecret i wrote it in a journal as well as food intake etc. knowing pictures and measurements were upcoming helped me and helps me still. You are a lovely girl…you have this!

Not sure why I haven’t seen your posts before, Daisy, but you already have an amazing story. There is a dietician and CFT whose advice I am following. She says, “Imagine what your life will be like in 6 months or a year or whenever if you do x, y, and z and achieve your goals. Now picture how you will feel and look if you do nothing…”. So I am doing the same thing, trying to focus on what it would actually feel like to get anywhere near what is considered a healthy weight. Right now I am still fat, but I am 60 pounds *less fat* than I was 2 years ago, and that’s what matters. Congrats on your great progress so far, and blessings to you!
