Well had two separate days that I overachieved on calories. Back on it… need to lose at least 4lbs a month through October. I want to build muscle and lose some of the front porch. I turn 52 this November, it ain’t gonna get any easier…
248.2 lb Lost so far: 5.8 lb.    Still to go: 23.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

4 lbs a month is very attainable. Just a matter of overall consistency.

If you have insuline resistance it will be hard to build muscle. It's supposed that after losing about 5 to 10% of your initial weight gets you out of that. I recommend you do 1 hours of cardio and some intermittent or 24 hour dry fasting till you reach that point. It won't take long. Maybe a month or less. And after that your muscles will hold on.
