I don't mean to be graphic, it is just what's going on and I'm recording here in case a pattern develops (dear God no) but 'my cycle' has been continuous (and oppressive) since early Dec. I don't like working out under these conditions...
114.5 lb Lost so far: 15.5 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks, Morti. It is normal... just annoying. I will be 48 in March and soon I'll be able to start a new chapter... it can't go on forever...

Mine disappeared forever at age 50, and with my weight down, I have avoided hot flashes, thank goodness. You're at the point where a lot of health problems smack women out of left field (diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure) from dwindling estrogen. You may want to get all those things tested now so you have a baseline to work with. Luckily you are in shape and at a healthy weight, so you may ride out the storm with minimal bumps.💚

Hi JB, I should get better about regular doctor visits. I had a complete physical 2 years ago and I was 100%. I don't skip OB/GYN visits; so I will see her after holidays. Not trying to rush this process but I am willing to bet there will be some good things about turning 50.
