work has me stressing, my mind was racing and I just couldn't fall asleep. I had a small midnight snack but nothing crazy... 2 weeks of on call starts tonight but that had little to do with last night's lack of sleep that will be tonight's lack of sleep.....ughhh time to get the coffee IV drip up and running.
154.0 lb Lost so far: 46.1 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

D_not_Cupcake 😄 🤣appreciate that. I had to go help a friend out last minute and didn't even get to do a squat Saturday post last week. I know all of FS was disappointed in me not posting a pic for my made up day so I will be sure to do one tommorow. My actual leg day is going to be Sunday but I'll get something lol.

I hate that when that happens and you cannot shut your mind off. My midnight snack is always a tablespoon of peanut butter but I do record it. Hopefully you can get some sleep! I am dealing with sleep deprivation because I caught a viral cold thing from my grandson and it has me up most of the night coughing. I worked out Wednesday and sucked! But at least I did it. I agree with the coffee IV drip! LOL

Redporchlady the racing mind is the absolute worst I tried everything finally went downstairs made my self some sleepy time tea with a drop of honey and ate a rice cake and 1/3 cup of fiber one cereal. So as far as a midnight snack I was pretty good lol only around 100 calories then I just sat in the dark on the couch for 20 minutes and went back and laid in bed. It must have worked because I dont think I was up too much longer after that. Sorry to hear about the cold nice job working out during it they say that working out when uour sick can actually help you get better faster. This summer made me a believer I only ended up being sick for 3 days and my wife was sick for 2 weeks I worked out the whole time. Maybe it was a coincidence but I did read about it as well

I just read for about 30 minutes to take my mind off of the issues and then head back to bed. Works better than eating for me, anyway. I'm sure you'll sleep like a babe tonight. Careful about your menu while you're at work today, and kick some a%&!🫠

JustBananas thanks I was good all last on call so I should be good this time as well with the eating. forgot to defrost chicken last night so I had to get a salad from wawa today. they were all out of grilled chicken so I ended up with the cut up chicken strips ontop instead but thats not too bad. I will be grilling the first weeks worth of chicken up tonight to make sure I'm good the rest of the week. it's been a full month without any overtime so I'm happy I will get a minimum of 42 hours of ot the next 2 weeks plus the oncall pay. going to be burnt out but I'll survive. A small snack, tea and sitting upright in the dark is always my final attempt to fall asleep before I give up entirely.
