2 Big 2 Fail's Journal, 31 January 2014

One week and it's officially 2 lbs. I was able to keep 656 calories to my exercise side and it worked out to a few lbs. Super Bowl party Sunday could be a problem for me but I think you have to take a diet holiday occasionally for your own sanity.

I noticed some difficulty in calculating calories for home cooked foods over the week since most of the things listed are for Chain restaurants. My wife made Chicken and Biscuits but I had to do the biscuits as a unit then chicken gravy with 1/2 chicken breast mixture. In the end I don't know if I was going high or low but I could only estimate. But in the end, based on the numbers I got I had seconds to fill my RDI to 100%..AMEN!
229.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 19.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

The way I Get through my diet/lifestyle change is to NEVER deny myself something if I really want it. You just need to watch the portions. I knew that if I completely omitted all the things I love to eat, I would go insane and eventually break down and consume everything in site. Usually I find though, after eating that piece of pizza that I wish I hadn't, However, the craving is gone after that and I can continue on as a sane individual:)
