I ran my first official 5K this morning with my husband! YAY! I think that I finished under 33 minutes, but I don't have my official time yet. It was great! Well, it was cold, cold, cold! And it was the first time that I felt like I was going to pass out after I finished, but I DID IT! What a feeling of accomplishment! Thank you, Lord!

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13

That's what I kept saying to myself as I pushed myself in the last sprint to the finish line! Then I see my hubby from the corner of my eye! He comes running to finish the last sprint with me! I can hear him ... "Push it, honey! You can do it!" I gave it my all! Thank you, Lord for a supporting & loving husband that inspires me! He has lost 70lbs. in the last year. He finished the race today in under 31 minutes!

What an awesome Easter weekend! Thank you, Jesus for your sacrifice!

Happy Easter everyone!

***** UPDATE: My finish time was 32:13! YAY! I am VERY happy with that!
