Hmmm...first journal entry!My nickname really is RoseBud (from my grandfather, such a sweetheart) I am almost 52 and I just wanted to keep track of and lose weight.I tried for a few years to diet and of course failed.Now I am just trying to eat healthier and it is beginning to work.I know that if I stumble on my journey it's okay,just try , try again! Slow and steady I think is the key for me. I love going to the gym, too.Well that's all for now...
161.6 lb Lost so far: 8.4 lb.    Still to go: 41.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Welcome. Be encouraged. I'm 44 in September and look and feel better than 22 when I hit the gym 5 days a week. You made a great discovery in what you shared about not dieting but just making healthier choices. That's what it took me. Sustainable lifestyle changes are the key to my journey. Didn't mean to butt in but just to encourage you. Have fun with it. Just like the scale there are ups and downs. It's the journey not the destination that changes us.
