Nice! Are you doing keto as well?

No not doing keto I was on banting years ago I lost a lot but didn't sustain cos I really enjoy pasta and rice. This time I decided no more restrictions just healthy options I do intermittent fasting on omad at the moment will go back to 16:8 once I get to 65kgs. I changed all my carbs from white to brown and whole-wheat and I watch the portions of the carbs. I do omit the carbs certain days like will have a roast chicken and salad but when it's curry I must have my brown rice that way I don't feel like I'm missing out and it's working for me cos I'm happy to keep all the grains brown and ww for life.🤩

Hi..do well done..how many grams of rice do you have with your meals...is is basmati thanks

Hi @timaessop I eat brown rice tastic brand I bought and I'm enjoying at home but if I'm out I will have basmati if available but I don't eat normal rice I'll have salad if there's no option at a function. Qty depends on what I'm making and what I've been doing for the day if I followed omad I will have 1 cup cooked brown rice with whatever curry I prepare if I did 16:8 and had carbs on first meal then I'll have 1/2cup cooked rice at supper. If I make curry I like 1 cup of rice if I make stir fry 1/2 cup is sufficient. So basically I alternate between 1cup and 1/2 I never exceed 1 cup at a sitting. Always measure cooked rice.
