I find it unlikely that I gained 5 pounds overnight. But here it is...

198.0 lb Lost so far: 56.0 lb. Still to go: 58.0 lb. Diet followed reasonably well.

gaining 17.5 lb a week

I've done 4.5 overnight for no good reason. It seems impossible to the logic of my brain but I've lived it just like you.
