I am a little ticked/ disappointed to record a gain this week. I really don't understand. I have been in my "training zone" mentality and have been very careful about what I am eating, counting points again this week. I have been over the daily points some each day, but I haven't counted activity points. I ate mainly all healthy foods. Oh well, what can I do except keep pushing ahead. That is why sometimes the scale is not our friend b/c it can discourage us and make us feel guilty even though we are making good choices. I can't let that determine how I feel now or undermine my hard work. However, gains don't happen for no reason, so apparently I need to change something. I feel good though and my tummy is feeling pretty flat which is a good indicator to me of where I am at.

I will continue in my training zone so I am ready for next weekend. Have a good day everyone!

Read this article. It explains how we can do everything right and not see the scale move. http://primusweb.com/fitnesspartner/library/weight/scale.htm If you are working out more and your muscles are sore, you are probably retaining water (muscles tear when working out and are replaced by water to help them repair). Just keep going, it will eventually show up on the scale or in your clothes.

Just in case that link doesn't work, the article is called "Why the scale lies" and you can type it in at google to find it.

geez, i understandand your fustration, but if there is anyone that can beat this- its you - you know exactly how to stay focus and strong, you won't let a number bring you down! hey? would this possibly be a muscle gain?? its def not real fat, it will go away!

The human body is such a mystery. Sometimes I think the scale has a mind of its own! It certainly has an "attitude." Just keep doing what you are doing. When you don't have so much to lose - the weight comes off so slowly!

It's probably just the natural up and down of the body, not anything to do with fat, necessarily. You're at such a good weight range right now, I wouldn't worry about it!
