WATER????? DUH---FINALLY!!!!!!!! Weight Loss. I weigh daily and have been stalled for almost since I started here (6 weeks? ago.) Thought logging my food would show me where I was going wrong. Nope. Started Exercising. Nope. Cut my calories to an average of 700 calories a day and still not losing. Went to the Doc and got some bloodwork, and one test was WAY off. Thought it might be due to dehydration so drank lots of water for several days before the test was repeated. VOILA---LO AND BEHOLD-- the pounds started falling off fast. Lost 5 lbs this week! AND I am eating about 1000-1200 calories a day instead of 700. I had always read to drink water while dieting, but I thought it was just to make you feel full. Read more, and your body needs water to metabolize fat to break it down and flush it. I am not a fluid drinker, I would drink about 4 cups of Half decaf/ half regular coffee and maybe a glass of water a day. Then when I reduced my calories so strictly, I was reducing any liquids I would get from that source too, so I must have been really dehydrated. So the moral is-----DRINK THAT WATER IF YOU ARE STUCK ON A PLATEAU, OR NOT LOSING AS FAST AS YOU WANT!
195.7 lb Lost so far: 15.3 lb.    Still to go: 55.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
