alideni's Journal, 25 July 2008

Well, I am definitely not used to my chart going this direction! UGH! I am ready to see it go down now! I was highly discouraged yesterday & made some decisions that didn't help me ... obviously! Not that I was terrible, but I ate more than usual! This plateau (I know ... it's only a week or so) has brought me down. I have not been depressed like this for months! UGH! I am blaming it on the weight machines that I worked out on this week @ the gym. That's the only thing that I changed this week. I think I will stick with my floor exercises (crunches, squats, etc.) that I have been doing with cardio & my 5lb. weights.

OKAY! Today is a new day! STAY FOCUSED! Don't let the scales bring you down! God, please give me the strength for this new day!

It's been almost a month since I measured myself, so I thought I would do that this morning for inspiration.

Measurements this AM:
Neck: 13.5in.
Bust: 37in. (33)
Upperwaist: 32in.
Waist: 33in.
Hips: 41.5in.
Thighs: 23.25in.

LOST a total of 1in. this month!

Hang in there! You have done awesome and I've no doubt you will continue to. I know how frustrated you must feel, I too think it's the weights, I wouldn't quit though, the added muscle will start working for you and burn fat and you're measuring which is the true indicator of how you are doing. You are doing awesome and you will keep on doing so too (O:
