Saturday morning.

I woke up at 4 this morning, but refused to get up until 6. Why is it hard to get up early during the week and when come the weekend, not to be able to sleep in? Anyway, many things to accomplish so it's better to take an early start. House cleaning, cooking for the week, studying of course, and a friend is coming tonight for a massage practice.

I am very happy to have contacted her, we met in Quebec many years ago. I knew she had moved in Alberta lately, but in a relationship, and with all the stress that goes with a recent move, new job etc... and with all that happened to me lately, we never got together. On Wednesday I finally called her to get some fresh news (we had exchanged FB messages since her arrival in Calgary) and she gladly accepted to help me with my massage sequence! We'll visit and have supper together. It's nice!

At work: I was asked to become Animal Wellfare Officer, another certification to obtain... I don't really need that now, but I accepted. Yesterday I was also audited for my current certification as meat Grader, I passed with 98% mark.

Workouts: Back on track! I certainly lost strenght, but it's not so bad. My program is all written down and it's doable. 30 minutes is definitely the way to go, short and intense workout is all I can afford right now.

Food: for the first time since my breakup, I made a real grocery shopping, with a real list of ingredients to make real recipes...

Moving on with my life, one day at the time. I miss my relationship, but I don't miss thomas anymore. Those last three months have been hard emotionally. I know I'm still vulnerable, but I finally see and accept life the way it is, and not the way I want it to be. I think it's called peace...

What a stroke of luck to not only reconnect with an old friend but have her help you out with your massage practice! Good news about getting back to your workout and I'm glad to hear you didn't lose too much strength. What do you do for your workout? It's great to see you putting the past behind you. You've got a wonderful and exciting future set out before you, too. Happy for you!

I like that note 'you miss the relationship, not so much Thomas' that is something most of us don't make sense of. I wish you well and agree w/ Moose, you are a gem! I miss it here! I miss my buddies!!
