well, I'm owning this. Thanksgiving was a robust weekend filled with food, friends and fun. But, then again, I feel healthy, I look pretty decent and I've no complaints.

You have achieved an amazing transformation! Now that you are so much smaller, are you able to lose weight with the same strategy, or have you had to makes changes to your WOE?

Trying to come (totally) off my HBP meds - one is a diuretic and since stopping it, it feels as if I'm fighting my hunger (on one front) and the scale (on the other) - LOL! Other than going off the wagon during Veterans Day and Thanksgiving weekends, I've been eating as if nothing's changed.

Good for you bro. I need to get my fat but back on the scale and own it.

As you come off the diuretic you will gain some water weight as well. It may sound counterintuitive but up your water intake and your magnesium. (I increased salt and potassium as well and it made a huge difference in clearing out my liver and getting me to realistic hydration levels!) 🙋🏻

Well said. Even so called normal eaters put on a few pounds over the holidays. When I gain a few, I scale it back, and it evens out for the month. Scaling back now. Still digging working with the trainer. Tonight I learned "burpees" and cossack lunges. I thought I was pretty fit until I started going to this little muscle gym. A woman I worked out with tonight has at least 5-7 years on me, and she could bench press with the best of them. Impressive.

Probably, mostly water. I was up 3lbs for the holiday and as soon as I got back on routine it came right off, so no worries.

@chesgreen, you're still one of my heroes! @smprowett, you're a wealth of knowledge, thanks! @TtinaBee - you're a braver soul than I... got my hands full with an elliptical and 40 lbs x 20 reps across 10 machines/stations every other day! @Alnona, thanks, it's scary to see how much it fluctuates day-to-day, isn't it?
