Down another pound! Yea! I haven't been able to use my scale but got it back in service this afternoon after my workout. I think I may have actually been a little less if I had been able to weigh in this morning as I usually do- prob. to 146 which would be an official 10 lb weight loss. But, I wrote in 147 for now. I am happy about this. I finally am seeing my measurements go down some and my jeans that have been too tight in the waist before I think I can wear out pretty comfortably now. I'm still working out my regular 3 days a week and happy to have been so consistent with that. I am following Paul McKenna's 4 golden rules and it really is working. I am not stressing about meals or going out to eat. I am just not eating much at any meal but am satisfied b/c I am eating slowly (fork down after every bite) and paying attention to and enjoying my food. It is very freeing to have this mentality with food. I am still eating healthy foods too and somewhat restricting the carbs- but not stressing about it. For instance, both breakfast and lunch today were no carbs- only in some of the fruit/ vegetables I had. But we are going out for Thai food tonight which I will enjoy eating but just be fine with eating very little of it and then enjoying leftovers.
Good job too to all of my buddies out there- you really are working hard and making great progress! Let me/ us know how you are all doing when you get the chance! Have a great weekend! Rachel

Don't you feel liberated following the golden rules? I know I do. It's awesome not having to worry about food! Yesterday, I had a huge salad and a piece of pizza for lunch, and I still posted a loss this week! And I don't think about food all the time anymore. It's great!

Fantastic work, Rachel - I'm sure that was well over a pound loss in reality, given the timing! Sounds like you're really getting to grips with this new way of thinking about eating, so setting yourself up for losing the rest of the weight and keeping it off. Keep it up! Leanne :)
