It's crazy how this weight keeps coming off againt all odds. I was sure that after (count them) TWO days of horrible over eating i would be gaining or at the least maintaining my current weight. But I weighed in and Bam! just like that, one less pound to worry about. Makes you wonder how much i would've lost if i stayed on track.

This week was nuts with the different circumstances being thrown at me. My job does this annual volunteering day where we take the day off and go together as a group to volunteer. They also feed us. Since I felt like I had done alot of physical work, i decided not to worry about my intake that day. I kept track though and almost had a heart attack when i noticed that i had basically eating double my daily alotted points. Then after that I went to a Poker game at a friends house. Sushi, meatballs, roasted chicken, potatoe salad, chips and dips, and 2 beers plus a rum and coke later ... and i thought SABOTAGE!

So with my expectations low but my chin held high, knowing i would have to pay for my bad behavior and ready to accept the consequences, i stepped on the scale just to realize my body wanted to give me a break today. a get out of jail free card, a second chance at redemption... LOL all i can say is I PROMISE TO BE BETTER TO YOU THIS WEEK DEAR BODY, let me be as good to you as you have been to me.
