I bought a food scale the other day and today I used it for the first time to weigh some hummus. I am very excited about its powers! :) No more random guessing about what an ounce is. I am very happy about not using my food diary for now. I can keep track of calories without it, and I feel more relaxed without it. That helps, and it also helps that I have more time to eat slowly and make good decisions about my food. I'm worried I haven't been eating quite enough veggies. Other than that, I have been very, very healthy in my food choices. I didn't exercise at all yesterday though and today I have not done any exercise yet either (though I will). I've been really busy with work but I need to get back in my routine. I am also disappointed that I have not been getting enough sleep. Things keep distracting me, like last night I was about ready to go sleep on time when my little sis (21) called and revealed that she had just driven home drunk. So I felt the need to stay up another hour and a half and talk about that!!

I think you made the right choice staying up to talk to your sis. She probably needed that. Veggies are a great power-food. They always make me feel great. Have a good one.

Sounds like you're doing pretty well. I hate getting out of a routine too and getting off exercising, it's so hard to start back again.

Your sister did come first and she maybe needed alittle reassuring/stern talking to from her big sister. Your body does need sleep and a routine (like a little baba) is the best way to do it! I'm tired by 9:30 these days because I've been getting into bed by 9 for so long! We lead an awfully boring life... hahaha!

Yes, I gave her both reassurance and a stern talking to! :) You're right, routines are so helpful. 930, haha-- well that's fun anyway that you get to go to bed at 9!! :)
