Does anyone else have severe dry eyes only at night where you wake up with your eyelids stuck to your eyes? I have a gel that I use sporadically because when I do use it it takes 2+ hours to remove it in the morning, and in the meanwhile everything is blurry during that time. Any advice?

JLente, for me it doesn't matter how much water I drink. Yesterday for example I drank about 120-130 oz and this morning was as bad as it gets

gz9gig, I guess I don't know what LASIK surgery is.

See Rheumatologist to have them rule out for Sjogren’s Syndrome.

LASIK is a surgery where they cut a flap of your cornea, lay it aside, then use laser to burn away corneal tissue, then lay the flap back down. Idea is to reshape the cornea to provide vision correction, replacing contacts or glasses. Result is loss of 1/2 of corneal nerves, which makes dry eye worse. Other problems include loss of night vision, visual distortions, etc. With cataract removal, the natural lens is removed and artificial lenses are typically implanted - tends to give much better results than LASIK.
