Any of my girls out there stop weighing a few days before their visitor comes? I stop weighing two to three days before cause of all the water weight I gain and I find it discouraging. Then a day after my visitor leaves I start weighing again and I’m back on track after the water wait and bloating goes away. Just curious if anyone else has this issue. Cause with the water weight and bloating and sorry to say constipation the scale jumps five entire lbs even though I’m eating the same and exercising and this efive lbs are gone as soon as Mother Nature is done with me.. I’m boycotting weighing at that time of month.

I weigh myself every day, but only record on Sunday. I think if it stresses you out, don't worry about weighing in. Stick to your diet and exercise and you'll see the loss later. I've read that it can add a temporary 5-10lbs. I think knowing that your scale is going to fluctuate can give you a peace of mind and keep you on your path. But if boycotting is your style, hell yeah! That scale can sit in the corner.

I agree with MidKGray, if it's stressful don't do it, cause it's not helping. I weigh everyday, and it's uploaded directly to my phone. It really gives me good info when I'm looking at trends. I log weight to FS at different times, sometimes everyday sometimes not. But I strive for at least once a week while participating in challenges. If my diet is on point I lose or maintain during that time. I try to eat with a focus on anti-inflammatory so if I gain at that time I know I'm not doing what I should be.
