i added a recipe in the database today. it was really easy. i ought to do that more often.

I think allergies or no allergies, I am making some progress. it just seems to go at a slower pace than others and than i would like. my pants feel loose today, and that is a happy feeling. oh, the triumphant day when they no longer fit and I have to go down a size!

i'm trying to hold out on the allergy testing diet, but I don't feel any different on it, and I am having a hard time finding replacements for my staple snacks of wheat based (low carb high fiber) cookies and soymilk. I've been eating what may be too many of these quinoa cookies I made, which are loaded with sugar. they are delicious. i could do worse, but making a note to eat less tomorrow.

I really want to measure myself. Its on my to-do list. also on my to-do is meal planning and preparing ready made snacks of portioned nuts and celery sticks.

I feel attractive today. That will help my progress, I know. :) There's that old saying that you won't lose weight until you accept yourself the way you are (and generally, that you can't let go of anything until you love it first), and whether or not its true, its a good principle to live by.
