Mine wanted me to go on that diet too. Said the KETO Diet was giving me a fatty liver. I looked at all my old lab test. She had never ordered a test on my liver before I told her I was doing KETO. I said f@#K it and went on a fast instead. It will clear up a fatty liver pronto.

You need to go on a WOE that works for you, and something you can live with. Whatever that might be, you seemed to have lost some #s on what you are doing, if it were me, I would stick to what works. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

There are lots of ways to lose weight! I found out that my own diet was very much like the Mediterranian diet with the exception of wine. I like keeping the carbs down when I can and higher protein especially when working out.

Mediterranean diet is still considered the healthiest diet for the long haul. I admit to non-compliance with the salad rules.

Thanks everyone - I would think that the "one-size-fits-all" mentality was still dead (at least it was yesterday) - and given that she was speaking to me... away from her computer... without knowing my background... simply to regurgitate the VA line that Mediterranean is the only one they endorse.
