DO N OK's Journal, 18 July 2017

Some of my FS buddy's requested a recent picture from my initial weight of 427#s, so I included one in my profile its a 229# loss difference, took years ,and yes it can be done, but with fat secret I managed to loose the last 37#s, now on to the hard part of keeping it off, and my journey goes on.

Interesting article in New yor Times about why the contestants on The Biggest Loser gained much of their weight back. They said that they ran tests on the people and discovered that after losing a lot of weight the body truly does slow down the metabolism and desperately wants to gain it back. The article said that some of the contestants had reductions of 500 calories in metabolism So if they started eating the recommended RDI they were actually gaining weight. Knowledge is power Keep Going
