So, I lost 1.8 lbs of water weight from Thursday night's splurge meal an am back down to 198.4. I've been consuming at least 3.5 liters of water, so I've been peeing like a maniac all day yesterday and today. Although, technically my stated low for this week is 196.2, I'm assessing that won't be my number tomorrow for my official weigh in. It seems it it takes a few days to pee out 4 lbs of water. But, that's okay. I'm really starting to have a less delusional perspective of that number. In addition to weighing, I will be taking my measurements again. I'm learning to be realistic about that as well. From the research I've done, I've learned we don't necessarily lose evenly or in the same places and the waist is usually the last place to lose fat. I have my handy dandy calipers and my Mother is ready to take my body fat percentage and asked me if I might do hers too. I think this is a good idea, that way both of us get in practice using the calipers. In the meantime, not to much to report. I finished my laundry early, upped all my reps, and did a full 20 minutes in level 17 on the recumbent bike, apart from warm up and cool down. I then mowed the lawns and cooked a nice dinner and am now enjoying a quiet rain and beautiful blossoms on the dogwood tree outside the French door of my suite. I think I'll turn in early tonight.
