To Tracy (from yesterday's comments) - Yes - I joined the Biggest Loser (New years) Challenge. Look forward to cheering you on - even if you are on a different team.  

Buffy, for some reason I cannot see you on the list of members for this challenge and when I tried to send you an invite you weren't listed there either. If you go to the challenge page and can see your name, you will see what colour team you are on (a flag next to your name) - I am in the blue team :) 

Good luck with your Wal-Mart run! We went yesterday afternoon, and ours was a zoo. Still, I think we got what we needed and now we're set for all the meals and Christmasy goodies. I'm really looking forward to having our family in - --- Jane 

Hope your shopping foray went well...I did the shopping in the rain on Monday! Yuck....the only upside is that my hair won't do anything anyway, so I don't even try..it looks the same if I do it or don't! lol Have a great Wednesday, Buffy!

Tracy - Well, I couldn't find my name either! So I re-joined and went back and checked and I'm definitely on there. And guess what? I'm BLUE too! Now we can really work together.  

jn-davis - Yes, our Wal-Mart was a zoo too - I had to make 2 purchases in the electronics department and needed to ask technical questions. The first woman was friendly but didn't have the answers. I finally found a helpful "Nerd" - and I mean that in a good way. Thank God for Nerds!  

Stef - I've found the best way to deal with my hair is to avoid mirrors.  

Stef - PS - Your BLUE too - great! We'll all make a great team. Will need to check and see what team everybody else is on.  

Hey...miss me? I missed you guys. I think I joined that challenge too, have no idea, so I will have to check. I subscribe to your hair strategy tooo...some things, ignorance IS BLISS! Glad you found a tech savy nerd to help you, I would need one too! Good luck & Wal-Mart...you are a brave woman! 

Buffy even the Instyler won't help if its pouring the rain...I am on the red team...boo hoo..can't change it either...thats ok will just have to work hard with out you guys...I bet Wal Mart was a fun place to be this close to Christmas...take care...:o) 

GG - I really do miss you. My schedule is so crazy that a lot of times I only catch yesterdays journals. The New Year is coming.  

Bren - I survived. Got one more trip to make tomorrow to a different part of town and then I'm done - as in "if we don't have it we don't need it". 

I hear ya loud and clear Buffy...I am tired of leaving the house..LOL.. enjoy your evening...:O)

Buffy I made trip to Wal Mart today and wasn't too bad.. didn't really want to go and fight crowds, but needed stuff ! 

WM here was pretty crazy, althought he parking lot was worse than the store! How can that be??? Anyway, they had plenty of cashiers and they were really quite friendly, considering the time of the season. When we were looking at TVs last week, we found a very helpful nerd in electronics...but he was a shopper! Didn't matter, he gave us some really good, solid advice that was born out in other sources. You just never know where your help will come from. Hope you survived your trip. 

I have to hit Walmart on my way to work tomorrow. Hoping it wont be quite as bad at that hour but I am sure it is still going to be busy. 

Hey Buffster! Sam's Club was the most crowded I have ever seen it today! People in the way, blocking aisle... lord. I was lucky I was the only one looking for ladies jeans on a table ... maybe I scared them all away with the maniacal muttering I was doing while flipping through each pair looking for the largest sizes... geez! I found some that were stretch and lord... when I got them home they fit! Par-ty! All right... that is Stef, you and me on the Blue team for the New Year! It's going to be a great team!! I see a lot of our buddies have signed up. Should be a fun time to lose it! ;) 

Buffy there was traffic everywhere crazy, I never went near the shops you are one brave lady...I am trying to get some organization in my house....it is a nightmare right now. My hubby came home said what the heck you been doing today your hair is a real mess.......great....yep I got caught in the rain.....so nice to mention it though......I wasn't planning on going to a ball tonight.....what the heck...LOL......
