I gained 2 pounds since the week before Thanksgiving and I'm not panicing yet but probably do need to work on my resolve. I haven't been logging my food on a regular basis so it's pretty easy to shrug off the gain.
This week it's all been about the coffee cravings. Once a year I take myself into Starbucks and have a peppermint latte. OOO it's so good but my goodness it's loaded with sugar. I haven't had it this year but I have had a peppermint chocolate milkshake from Steak&Shake. I think that will have to be my annual indulgence also.
So, to take my mind off the Starbucks sugar craving, I ordered a Keurig coffee maker from QVC. Then I discovered that they don't make peppermint mocha k-cups. Well, phooey.
Somehow I have to get over my cravings/desire to bake and decorate cookies. No good can come from it.
