I didn’t even do one sit up. I only got up from a good eight hours sleep and my back is out. I think I slept in the wrong position and didn’t realize it, now I’m up and hurting. Had to take Advil, such is life, will straighten out my back and my life, hopefully!😁 Our taxes, I had to put extensions on them now. I had stored the tax info on a thumb drive and then put it on another thumb drive in case the first one became corrupt. It was getting late to turn in taxes. When doing laundry, to my terror, both drives had gone through the washer and dryer, for I had put them in the key holder in my jeans which I never use and forgot I had done that. Ahhhhhh!!! So, I thought the info would be stored on the computer, but it wasn't - the horrors!!! Why was I so asinine not to have done that????? Now to start the whole process over, it was so horrendous! It takes more brains and effort to make out the income-tax form than it does to make the income!!!😕🥺 Finally, somewhat redone, the day to turn it into the CPA the car got a flat in the driveway and I had to Uber it there. The Uber driver wasn't going to give me a ride back, it was a nightmare. I dropped off the tax envelope at the front desk Thursday the 11th which gave him little to no time to do a decent job, so he filled extensions and he is getting to them sometime soon. It’s hard to believe America was founded to avoid high taxation!!!!🫤 The Uber driver gave me a ride back for cash, lucky I had any. Came home and called AAA to get the car towed to Big O, but instead he just changed to the spare tire. I spent the rest of the day at Big O, they didn't have our type tire there and they had to go travel and pick one up. That took the rest of the day. It was a nightmare! I love our CPA, but next year I will turn in our stuff March 31st, not a day of the week it's due. For I did come close to losing it, unfortunately not weight, just my mind! Losing my mind sounds so pessimistic. I prefer the term winning my insanity.😁 I surly snacked as I was going through all this, I am going to have to get back on track now, and get disciplined in my habits of recording what I am eating and recording the taxes. As the saying goes, for every minute spent organizing, an hour is earned! That’s why I am always out of time!! Sounds like a total nightmare. After reading this I need a stiff drink and it's only 9:30am and I don't drink.

Aw, sweetie! Knock back a shot of hard stuff (no carbs) and relax. Do something that doesn't require brain cells. You need a break, if only for 2 hours. Then, the booze will have worn off and you can start thinking again.

Just a question ... But - Did you ask for GOD to help you - at any point in time? NEVER EVER DO THAT! (I have learned from prior hard life experience - God knows nothing about taxes or real life)Yah ... The stiff drink or two option sounds pretty viable.

Heartfelt commiseration...That sick feeling when you realize what you've just done. Like the morning I intended to upload patient-account data and instead formatted the disk. But like your epic tax-filing saga, this was redeemable. I also know of a friend's friend who forgot to send a daily file and cost the bank she worked for a cool 1 million dollars n lost interest. She kept her job because they knew she would never forget again.

Savage Man, taxes are scary. That’s why I work so hard on them, but then to lose it all the info and start again is something else. What an idiot I can be! Thank you for the good wishes and I hope you have a terrific week also!☀️

Morticia, the scary part was the Uber driver saying he’s not taking me back, that was crazy! Don’t drink, I know you have your own stories, probably a lot worse than mine has ever been.🫤❤️🤗🤗🤗

Jergens, I’ve seen God work miracles. I will never stop asking Him for help, but He’s probably kicking me in the butt saying, why didn’t you help yourself and work on them earlier?!😆 Even Joseph and Mary had to travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem to pay tax. The HORRORS of taxes has alway been with us!!!😩

Gopherit2, that’s so interesting! Thanks, it makes me feel better about being a human along with other humans that mess up. WOW, those are scary mess ups! Reality continues to ruin my life, but thinking of others messing up makes me feel a lot better. Thanks again, that was way too horrible for me to feel bad about my little crap.
