No loss and no gain today. Hey, at least no gain. :)

I have decided my new regimen, thanks to a new buddy here on FS helping me out with some really encouraging words, some theory and a great personality. :)

Starting tomorrow - Saturday - I will do a modified "spike" diet (oh, how I loathe the word "diet"), and it will be as follows:

6 days every week - 1700 calories
Saturdays - 3800 calories

This should give me an estimated average of 1000 calories deficit per day, and make me lose up to 2 lbs per week. We'll see how it goes.

This is to make my body realize that there is in fact no food shortage, and supposedly this really works. I am very curious to see where it's gonna take me.

I like the theory behind it, it makes perfect sense to me, and I do like the fact that I have a weekly day where I can basically just dig in, though I will still do a strict accounting of calories that day. I gotta know what I am eating for later analyzing. Besides, how else will I know how much I have actually eaten? How else will I know when to stop, or for that matter when to NOT stop? :) Wow, this is a whole new thing to consider.

Anyways, I will as always keep you posted, and we'll see what happens. I hope this works. I am so ready to lose the rest of the fat.

In other news: Today I had my 2nd session in my Couch2fiveK project. I ran 6 times 100 meters, and I can honestly say it was a piece of cake. I can not grasp that it is THAT easy to run! Who knew? :) This makes me SO motivated, I just wanna go out and do more! Of course, there is a reason that it's building slow. First of all, I don't want to strain anything - I am after all in no shape to do any marathons - and second, I am sure it'll get MUCH harder as I start reaching my limits.
No matter, this will be fun!
