A joke I got from a friend who's gained a few pounds in the last couple of years that I thought was cute and you all would enjoy as well...
What is a calorie?
Calories are the little bastards that get into your wardrobe at
night and sew your clothes tighter...
MY CLOSET IS INFESTED WITH THE LITTLE SHITS.
On a more serious note... My job's been crap the past week, which is why I've been a bit MIA because I haven't had much time for me at all. I'm just going to start looking for another job. I like most of my colleagues but one of my bosses is getting to be a bit bi-polar or menopausal... either way, she's gotten to the point where I can't deal with her. And since everyone is afraid of her, no one will tell her, and if I tell her she'll ruin my career.
Anyways... still can't believe I'm 292... it's just crazy. of course with the lack of exercise and high calories this week, I'll likely still be 292 on Sunday, but I'm okay with that... well, today anyways... I might be grumpy by the time Sunday rolls around!

Yah... we'll see what happens... I'm got some feelers out, and I have to figure out how to ask a colleague what agency her boyfriend used... because he has a kick ass job, and they're an awesome agency, I just can't remember which one it is.

Good luck with that. Its very stress full when you are not happy at work. Why can't employers understand that if they create a happy work environment, they have happy employees, that like coming to work and therefore perform better? Heinz Ketchup used to pay for their female employees to get a manicure once a month.
I hope things mellow out for you soon, and remember that you have come so far, and are doing so well, try not to let it interfere with what you want to do with your life. :) I hope you get sometime to yourself this weekend!

Our office does stuff to try to keep the work environment happy, but because I work at a CA firm, not every partner is the same, and I work for many people in a year and this one woman... my goodness, I can't work with her, and there isn't much I can do about it... and having to spend 2 months out of my year (possibly more) dealing with her 1-2 times per week is just too much. No amount of money or other crap will compensate for that!
