Yup yup. this is a well-known fact by the doctors studying these matters, but personal agendas are in the way... Sydney diet heart study, already finished in 1977! states clearly: "Substituting LA in place of SFA increased all-cause, CVD and CHD mortality. Advice to increase LA or unspecified PUFAs merits reconsideration." And it's far from the only randomized controlled trial stating similar effects. Minnesota coronary experiment also from the same time period found that cholesterol lowering caused excess mortality. For further read: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4829658/

Agree- people working to cut cholesterol, will introduce unnatural foods like seed oils and margarine which are known to be full of unstable fats and the associated free radicals etc.

I also read that in women especially, cholesterol lowering medication has virtually no effect on decreasing mortality
