8 days without soda. 8 days of "healthy eating". My last journal entry I said it had been 5 days but it really had been 6. I started January first (yay new year's resolutions!).
Yesterday I was exhausted and I caved and had a cup of coffee. BUT thank God I did because 5 minutes later someone walked around the office offering chocolate chip cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies. Because I gave up a little will power to get (somewhat healthy) coffee, I was able to have the willpower I needed to give up the delicious not so healthy cookie. I feel pretty proud of myself.
The coffee was pretty gross though. I normally don't drink coffee and when I do it's starbucks delicious coffee. I mainly drank the coffee so I could stay awake. It worked though!
I'm excited to weigh myself Sunday. I'll be making cookies (my once a week treat) Saturday, and in order to keep myself from gorging I'll weigh in Sunday morning. Tiny steps.
