Wow! Spent all day cooking and cleaning, I cooked everything with LCHF in mind and it all turned out fabulous, our guests brought cookie bars (home cooked from a box) for dessert, but they were kind enough to bring the nutrition label for me. I ate one very small slice and it was delicious, but waaaayyyy too sweet for my taste-buds, as was the tablespoon of jellied cranberry sauce I ate. The mashed cauliflower went fantastic with the giblet gravy. I made the giblet gravy with xanthan gum for a thickener instead of flour or cornstarch, everyone loved it. I had decided on a 3 oz portion of the turkey, but it was so good I had to go back for seconds so I ended up with 6 ounces. If I had stopped right there I would have been fine, but I had to have a little slice of the cookie bar. The cookie bar alone shot my carbs up to 25, combined with the meal my carbs zoomed up to almost 50. Hopefully this will not kick me out of ketosis, tomorrow is a fasting day (I'm so full I think I could go without eating for a week). The cookie bars my guests left behind will be going to work with my husband tomorrow. He is quite content, I made stuffing for him and there are lots of leftovers, he will be eating like a king at work tomorrow. I hope ya'll had a Happy Thanksgiving and a successful meal strategy, I plan to vegetate with my nose in a book for a bit while I digest!

Your a going concern! Wonderful. So u have this down to a science. I'm interested in the fat carb port ratios? I think I'm off.

Pantelis35, My current target macros are: 67% fat - 827 kcal - 92g 25% protein - 313 kcal - 78g 8% carbs - 100 kcal - 25g With a target total calorie RDI of 1234 I should, however, mention the fact that my daily average which includes my 2/5 intermittent fasting routine is at 986 daily calorie intake with a macro breakdown of: 74% Fat 21% Protein 5% Carbs So far it's working, I have lost 32 pounds in a little over 2 months. When I hit a stall that lasts for three weeks I will readjust my RDI and macros to reflect my current weight.
