Pizza is my weakness. Let's just get that out of the way now. Yesterday was a long and frustrating day for a variety of reasons. Either way it ended with my ordering a medium pizza from papa johns. It also ended with them screwing up my order (as always it seems lately), and me eating 4 slices of pizza. It was beautiful, and I enjoyed every minute of it.

Fast forwarding to today, I had cooked chicken last night for lunch today. At lunch time, I was struggling with choosing between the healthy chicken, or the 4 slices of pizza leftover in my fridge. I ended up choosing the chicken! I am pretty proud of myself.

The day isn't over yet though. I haven't been to the gym since Saturday. My legs were hurting yesterday, but I'm hoping to go running tomorrow and Saturday on my way to the gym. The 5K is in one and a half weeks, so I can't stop running, especially when I'm so close!

Leftover pizza is my weakness! I can usually keep myself to 2 or 3 pieces the first time, but the rest sits in the fridge being the easiest thing to heat up for lunch, dinner, breakfast, snack, etc! Then I end up eating it all week. Good job on choosing chicken!!!

Oh pizza, it's my favorite and if it's around I'm gonna eat it. I could eat it every day. At least today you made the smart choice. Get that running done, and if not running go to the gym and do something!! Good luck with the 5K!

Great job on choosing chicken! I don't think I could have been that strong - pizza is my weakness too. Especially cold leftover pizza (I know, I'm weird, but it just hits the spot.)

Well the nice thing about pizza is it is actually a very nutritious junk food Lol! Moderation is key so good job with going for chicken at lunch today ;) best of luck on the 5k....that's realky cool!

I usually order a cheese pizza and ask them to put very little pizza sauce on it. Before even taking one bite of the pizza, I wolf down 5 hard boiled eggs and a big plate of salad (I allow myself to indulge in blue cheese dressing). By the time I'm done with that 'appetizer', I'll eat about three slices and get full with that. This works for me. I usually go to Roundtable, as they have a good salad bar with whole (not crumbled) hard boiled eggs. However, this is usually my one big meal for the day. So I try to eat it later in the day so it will keep me full. Works for me.

babe, don't be too harsh on yourself. you need your cheat days, and your pizza is your cheat meal! you will be fine as long as you are back on track after your cheat meal and remember to exercise! :)

Just remember depending on the pizza, you can actually have a couple of slices!

try cauliflower crust pizza instead of the usual flour with vege toppings, you can do the searching.. "cauliflower crust pizza"
