2 Big 2 Fail's Journal, 11 February 2014

Not doing so good this week. I haven't completely blown my diet but last weekend was filled with high calorie food from a few restaurants. Even though I was blowing my calorie count I was tracking it thus making decisions to keep it lower. When I wasn't tracking the numbers I bet I was in the 4000 calorie range or more. Keeping it closer to 3000 is an improvement.

I'm still doing the heavy workout and building muscle and feeling strong so I'm not going to beat myself up about the calories and I'll make the assumption that building muscle will add weight and the muscle will also increase the burn of calories as a given.

I'm planning on hitting the gym lifting weights three more hours this week and getting out and snowshoeing next week during lunch hour. The snow shoeing in the woods for 30 - 45 minutes a day is much more than just exercise. I miss it in the summer so it time to take advantage of the lack of bugs (mosquitoes and ticks).
