Also read that you have to reduce 1000 kcal / day to lose 1 lb / week. Oh my God, how can I get down so low on kcal??? I want to lose some weight before I try jogging again. I don't want to massacre my joints and everything bounces so much...

Not true...I pound of fat or weight contains 3500 Kcals of energy. Therefore 500 a day will give you a pound a week.

be careful with reducing your calorie intake so much. always remember---the more you exercise the more calories you NEED to eat.(good calories of course) if your body doesn't get what it needs everyday it will begin dragging you down and holding on to everything it can. then you won't lose anything at all. just be careful!!!8-) a helpful website is www.freedieting.com,they have a calculator that estimates how many calories you need according to how much you exercise,weigh..etc. good luck!

Another thing to consider .. if you exercise too strenuously, your body goes into ketosis. It can't get enough energy burning fat (which takes longer to break down) so it converts to burning protein (which is easier to break down). So, unless you're a body builder that ingests lots of protein, you don't actually want to go into ketosis. You might want to check into that, because I could be wrong .. but it's definitely something to consider.
