Darlene, glad you are back. That is a terrible way to lose weight, I know. I hope this year brings you good health and a positive attitude. i don't think you can go wrong with low carbs. Carbs seem to be so bad for most of us. It seems to me too that you should try to eat very healthy foods and build up your strength again. I stay under 210 carbs daily (mostly). By tracking the carbs in the foods I eat, it showed me what was best to stay away from. I eat much more fruit than before and they have carbs but good ones. I also eat 90 grams of protein a day, if possible. maybe your doctor could give you a guideline of calories/protein/carbs/fats/fiber that you should strive for daily. That is what my doctor did and that is the guide that I use for myself. Stay strong.

hey CC thanks for ur kind words and the well wishes and advice I can use all I can get...I was at one time following the Dr Atkins diet and had a good outcome but that was the one he originally had...they have changed it lots since then...o.0 so I will try to stay 30 or under as far as carbs and also around 1200 cals a day too...cant really do much exercising as yet..but since I got me a lab pup, she keeps me walking outdoors lots and cleaning everyday with all the birds and cats and other critters I have keeps me purrty busi as well...I hope your new year is a healthy and happy one as well...nice to hear from ya Love Dar <3
