So, Black Garlic... the hip, trendy, item on food blogs... I have tried to make this 2x, following 2 different sets of instructions, and I have failed miserably.
So, I saw a bag of two in a grocery store and bought them.... I opened them today, and well, I didn't hate it, but to me it tasted EXACTLY what I imagine pureed raisins would taste like... so next time maybe I puree some raisins, add a tiny bit of garlic powder.... save 3 bucks, and call it a day.
My wife made short ribs for dinner and they smelled awesome.... I love me some short ribs... but I didn't have any. Being pseudo vegetarian ( about 95% ), is hard some days, but I am getting it done for several months now.
