It's normal body fluctuation. If you weigh daily, you need to get used to it. Google "why the scale lies" to gain insight in to water weight. RDI's are only guidelines. You may need to adjust your caloric intake to make sure you are on a losing path. Some RDI's are too high for some people and just right for others. You also have days of eating well and then poorly. This can lead to a yo-yo effect of up and down the same few pounds. Consistency is key with weight loss. Make sure you are doing what you need to lose weight. Track all food honestly. Those bites, licks and tastes add up. Going off plan one day can screw with the weigh-in. Are you exercising? Drinking water? Watching sodium intake? Getting enough fruits and veggies? Enough protein? Too much junk? Just some things to think about. A food scale and measuring cups are eye opening in figuring out how much a serving of something actually is.

You're right it isn't fair! But then not a lot of things are in life if you think about it. If life was fair a chicken curry would have the same calorific value as a green salad (I'm right now eating a green salad and dreaming of a chicken curry).

The same happened to me. Suzi explained it very well, but it's still frustrating. My body did the same to me. Maybe the scales will go down tomorrow to catch up. Hang in there with me. We can do this!

Just take 24 hours at a time Buff and stay 10% under your RDI every day. It will come off. :)

Buff... I feel the same way. Wanna have a pity party with me? It will only last 10 seconds, but it helps relieve some of the pent up aggravation.

Joey - And a strawberry would taste like Boston Creme Pie - enjoy your salad.

Dboza - Sure, it can be explained, but that doesn't mean we have to like it does it? Wishing you a great weigh-in tomorrow!

Mom - That kind of sounds like work? Of course, anything worth having is worth working for.

ClasicRocker - Yes you get it - I wanted a pity party! And I do feel better longer than 10 seconds. This will get me through the rest of the day.
