What a beautiful day!
One pound up from last night's festivities. To Deadcenter, Bren & Heather - not much healthy there so I ate small portions of what I really wanted. And I got to spend time with some friends I hadn't seen in ages - some things are worth the calories!
No cravings today, even though there is a pie in the fridge. As soon as DH gets back will make a big salad & turkey burgers. All is well!

Glad you had a good day. Kudos on getting on the scale. Hell would have to freeze over before I jump on it after yesterday. I'll give it a day or two then weigh in.
I know what you mean about seeing people. It's great. We isolate too much and it's a chore getting hubby out anymore.

Mmmmm turkey burgers sounds good...I'm sure the gain is from saltier foods you ate..you lose that in no time..and yes seeing friends are worth the eating....Have a great Sunday my friend...:O)

ClasicRocker - I am just grateful it was only a pound. As for the socialization, it must be especially difficult for you, but glad you see the need to get out. You are so balanced - lots of us could take pointers from you,

Bren - Yes they were good. Hard to believe I've only started eating them these past 2 years. Wonder what else I've been missing?

Virginia - Heard the veggie products have come a long way since I first tried them. At Sam's Club I sampled some spicy black bean veggie burgers that were to die for!

My, my Buffy....you're certainly braver than I am. I could never see a pie in the 'frig and not be drawn to it. Unless it was a mincemeat pie....never really tried that...it just sounds so awful I'm not even tempted. Anyhoo...glad to hear you had a nice time over the weekend. Sounds like your workweek is off to a good start, too.

Sandy - Mincemeat is not my favorite although I've eaten plenty of it as it was one of my Mom's favorites. This pie was buttermilk custard - guess it is a Southern thing (better than it sounds). DH took it with him to the bunkhouse so I don't have to think about it anymore.
