Injections...into...the...EYE!?! OMG, poor DH! Hope he's feeling better soon! And don't you just love when a trainee quits right after training? Especially while you're gone on vacation. Nothing like getting back and have twice as much to do! Here's to hoping you find a decent replacement soon to get that off your shoulders!

Vcravener - One thing about FS, when I think I have it bad I can always look around and find someone worse off than myself. You set such a good example with your positive attitude in spike of your circumstances.

Heather - You are right on the work - when he has an eye appointment I simply tell my boss that I am taking him. But I did go back Friday and stayed until 6.

Mom - We don't really know but blood pressure may have been a factor. His doctor put him on blood pressure meds. After his last episode he quit beer and has lost 35 pounds. Good luck with your DH - I don't blame you for worrying!

Buffy, my DH has had work done on his eye and I can barely stand to hear what they did and how they did it! I know I'm supposed to be supportive, but all kinds of eye work is just more than I can handle. And kudos to you for being there and watching....more than I could do. As for your trainee.....what a disappointment! After waiting all that time to get someone and now you're back to shouldering the full load. Maybe another interviewee (2nd choice) could be called back??? Keeping my fingers crossed.

Sandy - Good to know I'm not the only wimp - LOL. As for work, my manager is interviewing so all I can do is keep my fingers crossed!

Bren - Good afternoon! Hope your DH fees better soon - back injuries are the worst! And I think you are right about the new worker - this guy was 30 and must have decided there wasn't any way he could keep up with us old timers!
