I am always so shocked when I look at my carb count (63.4g) and see it's well below my 80g target. Yesterday was a good day carb-wise AND I even managed to get 16g of fiber in there (net carbs 47.4g). Feeling amazed and proud.
Ooo! And sodium intake was IDEAL 1,040 mg. Awesome! This is exciting to me

Do you have sodium - sensitive hypertension, that you would be keeping sodium intake that low?

As far as my Dr is concerned, I should maintain a low sodium diet. He recommended sodium targeting 1200mg/day or less. I really want to get off my RX for hypertension. He advised me that reducing my sodium and losing my excess weight will result in better blood pressure and higher probability of discontinuing the RX.
