cindylynnwho's Journal, 13 June 2008

Well, I was hoping to hit 169something this morning, but I guess that was wishful thinking. Instead I have gained 2 lbs! Yesterday was a stressful day... apparently on my day off (Wed) there was an auditing fiasco and talk of our whole program shutting down... well, we are not going to shut down, but we have to scramble around and get all this documentation that someone else should have gotten before I was even employed where I work. It's not so bad.... but there is tons for me to do right now! Yesterday I was unusually tired and stressed and didn't eat very much at first, and I think I overcompensated on the eating by bedtime. Ah, well. I didn't see my bf yesterday but overall I think he is still helping. Having someone to love makes one full in a way that renders food less relevant, you know?

Oh, who wants to see my adorable boyfriend?
These are not really recent pictures but he looks pretty much the same. (and yes, is also a couple years younger than me).

And speaking of adorable, here is my nephew Gavin packing up his toys for his move to North Carolina :(

and forging a connection with his feline brother, Burt:

I'm not intentionally exercising as much because of the boyfriend. I've got to get back into a good routine on that. Tomorrow we are going to the beach so I think we will get lots of walking in then. And this evening while he's at work I need to take a walk, too. Fortunately, my boyfriend's food habits have not yet rubbed off on me. Nope, I am not particularly tempted to subsist largely on diet coke and frosted flakes. I didn't foresee myself dating someone with such habits (and an attachment to said habits) but in the context of his overall wonderfulness, it's easily tolerable. There could be forseeable diet coordination problems down the line, though. Chuck is also allergic to 24 different vegetables (! poor baby) and then there are other vegetables he can't stand. Did y'all see the Seinfeld episode about the Kenny Rogers Chicken Roasters where Neumann eats a piece of broccoli and then coughs it out screaming, "VILE WEED!" haha, that reminds me of Chuck. The differences being that Chuck's weight isn't affected by his distaste for broccoli and love of frosted flakes, and that I am super attracted to Chuck-- Neumann not so much. ;) Fortunately, my bf does love walking and outdoor activities and such, so that part won't be as much of a challenge.

Well, I have to get started early today so I need to get going. I'll be back later today to see how everyone is doing. Focus, Cindy, focus! Have a fantastic day, everyone!

Funny about "vile weed"... LOVE Seinfeld! :) I'm sure the slight gain is more water/stress weight than anything. Drink your water and get focused back on you and what you can do for yourself first, then attack the rest. Keep on kickin' it up!! :)
