oh man, I was really hoping to meet my mini-goal this morning, but instead the scale says I have gained .2 lbs. my bfp is up a little too; I hope that just means that I have food in there that needs digesting or something. Hopefully in the next day or two I'll meet my goal. Next stop: 160 lbs.
On the positive side, yesterday my co-worker said that I am getting so skinny that he didn't recognize me at first. He also said that my new size 12 pants look too big for me already. I think its partially that I changed my hair and was wearing makeup (unusual for me) without glasses (also unusual), and I also think that I have stretched out my size 12 pants. I mean, I really haven't lost that much since I last saw him. But, I'll take it! No complaints; tell me I am skinny all you want, people! :)
In other news, I am afraid that my dating life was suffering because of my weight problem... I really hadn't dated much at all since the last time I was this weight (in 2005), except for this one guy who said that he couldn't get past my weight and that he "had" to close his eyes to get close to me. So I think its partially increased confidence/psychological factors and partially my objective, actual looks, but now that I am down to (almost) 175 again, I have dates! One with a local guy later this week, and then there is this other guy I met online that I also like a lot. He lives a couple of hours north of me (where CSmittyRun lives), so no date with him until we talk more (too much gas!) but potentially soon. Anyway, I'm a tad embarrassed to share that with y'all, but I thought I would anyway as I am trying to focus on the positive. 175, I am catching you any minute now, just you wait!!

Roll on 175....and beyond! And sure why wouldn't ya have dates being gorgeous and all as ya are... It sounds that you are doing savagely well and that you are kinda 'loving' yourself which is the best thing that you can do... and anytime that someone comments like that.. well thats ALWAYS a grand day.. aint it! keep it up!

Don't ever be embarrassed sweetie, you should feel great! So happy that you are feeling good about yourself bc that's why you are doing this. Why we are all doing this. So who is this Tampa fellow? lol. If you come up here to see him we should do lunch. Kudos to 175 and cheers to seeing the 160's soon!

Kudos to you Cindy and the fact that you are learning to love yourself more showns in that you aree going the extra mile to wear some make-up and do little things to "tweak" your already wonderful appearance. Any guy who said what that jerk said to you is exactly that...A MASSIVE JERK. You're better off w/o a loser like that. Remember, you deserve respect and love at any size. Good for you that you are taking care of yourself for yourself and the good things will follow automatically. Have a GREAT day!

BRAVO girly!! Way to go on the dating front... and why wouldn't it alive and well with your great new looks and new found confidence!! POOH on the meany guy how was dumb enough to say such a mean thing to you about closing his eyes... jerk! I swear, some of them have no idea how there little comments live with us for so much of our lives. You're kickin' it right up and shaking the weight off like the true winner that you are, you should be so very proud! I have taken compliments, especially from church about losing more, when I actually hadn't but it wasn't worth the time to explain my stalling lol! Smiling and saying thank you for noticing! That's what I recommend! :) Keep on rockin' it girly!

Way to go YOU! There is NOTHING to be embarrassed about w/ all that. That's actually great!!! That's so fun:-) I love hearing that you are a size 12 - there is hope for those of us who aren't there yet:-D You keep up the good, GREAT work!!!
