Read about feeding pork yesterday, and found it interesting that they start with 18% protein, then go to 16%, and in the later fattening up stage go to 14%.
This go well with what may very well be ideal for humans. 18% protein, 82% fat, by calories. Roughly one pound food per day. If doing 4 meals a day, it turns to around 4oz per meal.
Later this year I will try this out. In preparation, I get what's needed to make various forms of sausages at home. Simple go-to meal on everyday basis.
