43.something% bfp, I forgot already. Okay, well I am going back down. I don't know if this has anything to do with my earlier 2 lb in a day gain, because I don't remember what I was eating right around that time (just that it was not enough to cause that much gain), but I've determined that I've not been eating enough protein vs. carbs lately, and its affecting my emotional and physical health. I was vegan for a long time (but stopped because I felt I wasn't getting enough protein and knew it would be easier to get it on a non-vegan diet) and at the encouragement of vegan friends, I was tentatively trying to see how far I could move back in that direction. (I figured that since I was wrong about how many calories I need to eat, maybe I was wrong about that, too.) I guess I moved too far, or now that I think about it, I really did not make enough efforts to get protein in general-- there are vegan ways I could have done somewhat better had I been really dedicated, which I was not and am not at this point. I belong to a community supported agriculture group, and they send me more produce than I know what to do with, so I was also trying to use it up (rather than give half away) by eating mostly veggies so I could save money... but I remember now that I cannot live on veggies alone. :) I felt extremely crappy yesterday. Protein. Must eat protein. I'm in recovery at the moment with a protein smoothie. :) Ugh, I feel like crap. I'm also stressed out about a situation at my job, which I can't talk about because of the confidentiality of my clients, but it semi-sorta-helps to mention it, anyway.
