The expected bounce back after the fast, a little more than what I had hoped, but I did eat more than I really should have. It's about breaking down the barriers and pushing ahead regardless of any bumps in the road. This will be gone in a couple days, just in time for the next fast! 220 here I come!

I was hoping to get under 230 with this fast and guess what?! Yay! So to summarize my first real fasting experience, 81 hours, and 8#s.
It was a challenge but nothing more than I've faced in the past. After 24 hours the "hunger" level never changed. I wouldn't even call it a hunger, more along the lines just an empty stomach. My energy level was good throughout so long as I kept busy. In a busy kitchen it's not so hard, but playing with tasty food all day does bring it's own challenges. I didn't have much in the way of broth during, mostly soda water.
In examination I will fast again, maybe not three days, maybe five, maybe one, keep it mixed up and keto feast between, we will just have to see. It's fun being your own guinea pig.

Today is day 3 of the three day fast (started Monday nite @ ~9pm) and am I glad it's going to be done. Not that it's been a bad experience, just soooo ready to have some cream in my coffee, bacon, steak, & eggs. In short GIVE ME FAT!!! I feel like Audry Two in Little Shop. FEED ME! But, I'm going to be a good fasting soldier and wait till tomorrow AM for my cream and to break the fast so I guess all in all it'll be an 81 hour fast. Not bad for a first attempt and working as a Chef. Will power is a muscle right?
